It was sad to see this place go, it was one of the first tasty Korean fried chicken in the valley until b.b.q chicken opened in Northridge. Still sad to see it go.

Permanently closed. Which is sad, this was our favorite neighborhood chicken place, Korean or otherwise.

Smaller shop than i expected but freshly made to order for everything on the menu. Service was great and the small tables give a break from shopping in the k-mart

Located inside Greenland Market is this chicken spot that also sells boba smoothies, Korean corn dogs, and more. Love the service - the guy helping us was very friendly! Made fresh to order, we got the Hawaiian chili and soy garlic (both mild, no heat). Pleasantly surprised with the Hawaiian flavor! Satisfied my Korean fried chicken craving. Would go back again to try the other flavors like garlic chili!

This place is located in the Greenland Market. It's a Korean market off White Oaks and Sherman Way. I love this location they tend to have good deals and they carry the ORIGINAL Sriracha. Tucked away in a small little shop there is Been Chicken Cafe. This little spot is throwing out some amazing KFC (Korean fried chicken). The guy behind the counter was energetic and passionate about what he was making. He told me this would be some of the best KFC, I will eat. My goodness was he right! The K-Hotdogs were crispy and flavorful. One was a sausage and one was cheese. Both were very good. The wings...OMGEEE they were so good! I couldn't stop eating them. I got the Crazy Hot (because I wanted the spiciest ones). The flavor was delicious and it had great heat. It's definitely spicy but not unbearable. The Garlic Chili was my favorite, Super garlicky. We had waited some time for him to cook them but I can see why. Everything was made to order. He really delivered. I wish this place was closer to me but my best friend lives down the street. Will be returning. I definitely recommend checking this spot out. Worth even penny!

This little hidden gem inside the Greenland grocery store in Van Nuys is a don't miss out on it restaurant. Overall I would give it a solid 4.5 stars rounded to 5 stars. I was hoping the potato chips that they make would be freshly fried because there is nothing better than hot freshly fried potato chips cooked right. We weren't real hungry so we ordered medium potato chips and a 10 piece half original and half garlic soy chicken wings. The Owner, Alex prides himself on making a fried chicken wing that is lightly battered versus a thick batter at most other places. Alex nails it with a great fried chicken wing, light batter and great flavor. I like a good crunch which requires more batter but I knew Alex had a different style. I liked the way Alex makes his wings too. The garlic soy was done perfectly with a nice balanced flavor (garlic portion was not over powering which resulted in a tasty wing). I will definitely come here again and get a 10 piece just for me and the potato chips. The chicken sandwich is a big hit so I might need to go with my friends and trade a wing or two for a bite of the chicken sandwich. If you are in LA, drop in and try Alex's menu.

2022.02-19/SAT: Man, oooooh, man! I think there should be more meat on sticks! Well, I watched a YouTube video of a Korean snack similar to a corndog. We noticed the bakery was no longer there and this place was now here. I don't know what they have on it but it's delicous. The outer coating of what you choose to eat - mozzarella cheese, meat or both, it doesn't matter! Straight up, it's addicting so I know there must be a smidgen of sugar in the batter because you'll want more! The meat stick had Panko breadcrumbs, too. Fried to a golden crisp! The breading is unexplainable because it's soft and fluffy, nothing like a heavy corndog batter. The mozzarella was super soft and stretchy! It was a great experience to try it! Next, we had their chicken bites. OMG, they were delicious. It looked exactly like Karaage but it wasn't heavy at all! Yes, it's fried but you can tell it's not processed chicken. It's literally chicken breast cut into little bite-sized morsels and it was delicious, too. Next time we have to hit Greenland, we're definitely coming back and trying another item on their menu! I just want the cheese on a stick! That alone was delicious!
